A backcountry and split-snowboarding adventure by icebreaker around the Tunalliarfik Fjord in Greenland.
On this tour, we will probably spot some whales. Humpback whales are the most common to see, but also a significant change in spotting other types.
We can also expect to spot Polar Bears, and seals are quite common. The wild birdlife can be fun to watch from the ship and onshore. When ashore, we can expect to run into foxes and other animals.
You can go on cruises in RIB and Zodiac boats in the ice fjords among the giant icebergs. If the conditions are right, we could do other activities like kayaking and paddle boarding. We will go for short hikes ashore and have a picnic.
You can expect to experience much more, like the Northern Lights and the sound of the icebergs cracking up, and you can enjoy all that in comfort aboard Argus. We offer a single cabin, a twin cabin, and suites for accommodation.
To make your stay on board Argus more enjoyable, we have great amenities like a hot tub, jet pool, gym, bar, and our chef’s great food. Our chefs also focus on taking you on an adventure when it comes to food. You can have the freshest fish and other seafood, delicate dishes with a game from the areas we tour by, Icelandic lamb, and other great courses.
Our crew offers service on regular hours, but you can get a drink whenever you want from our honesty bar. We encourage you to go behind the bar and make yourself a glass with million-year-old ice that you break off a large piece of an iceberg on the bar.

Itinerary
Arriving at Narsarsuaq Greenland
After checking in at Kastrup airport in Copenhagen, you fly with Air Greenland to the Airport in Narsarsuaq, where our guides will greet you. Your luggage will be transported by boat to Argus, lying by an anchor in Tunulliarfik Fjord (A.K.A Erik’s Fjord). Before heading to the ship, you can take a nice walk around town, get to know the modern Greenland culture, and even trade with the locals. For that, we recommend having Danish Krona by hand.
After walking through Narsarsuaq, you will be transported by boat from the harbor to the ship. In the middle of the day, there is an option to go ashore on the other side of the Tunalliarfik Fjord to look at the Brattahlid where Erik the Red established a colony in the year 985.
Dinner and drinks aboard Argus. We cast off in the afternoon and head for the first slope. It is perfect to go into the hot tub on the deck in the evening, relax and admire the view.
